Fiona Campbell is:
A fully qualified
APPI (Australian Physiotherapy And Pilates Institute) instructor and physiotherapist.
With over 20 years experience and 10 years working in elite sport with the English Institute of Sport.
I qualified in 1994 with a BSc in physiotherapy and following my passion for sport and rehabilitation I completed my Masters in sports and exercise medicine in 2003 and taking up a post with The English Institute of Sport at the end of 2003 working with elite athletes. I was privileged to work with the Great British Triathlon squad as part of my EIS role from 2004 to 2006. I also am a keen sportsperson myself and have played hockey at district and national league level before taking a keen interest in competing in triathlon for the last 14 years, although since having my beautiful children 5 years ago my competing has taken a little bit of a back seat.
Pilates is something that I have used in my clinical practice for many years but was always keen to take my knowledge of it further so in 2012 I embarked on my official training with the APPI to become a fully qualified teacher. I started teaching at the beginning of 2013 and have loved seeing the transformation of movement control, strength and mobility of everyone who attends. I love to keep learning and evolving my classes through attending Pilates and physiotherapy post graduate courses.
