Format of Pilates Classes

All mats and equipment are provided but feel free to use your own mat if you wish. Please bring a small towel for the head blocks.

Each class will start with a warm up and then the main body of the class will involve a variety of exercises done in various postures from standing, sitting, to lying. You can work at your own pace and there will be options to do easier or harder levels depending on individual ability. I will go round the class and may correct what you are doing or advice you if you need to change the level you are working at. Most importantly you should not be in pain.

How to join a Pilates Class

You will need to contact myself to see if there is availability as I only take small classes with a maximum of 12. You will need to join and pay for a term upfront and classes cannot be taken on a pay as you go basis. If you miss a class you have the option to attend one of the other classes if space available and I allow one weeks grace per term.

Everyone is required to fill out a health questionnaire before starting. If you are joining a class already up and running I will need to arrange a short 1:1 session with you to go through the Pilates key elements in order for you to gain the maximum benefit from the class.
